Old buildings eligible to be legalized include the ones finished prior to the entry into force of law 19/1975, of May 2, 1975. These ones  having no license, shall be treated as the buildings having urban license, provided that they continue today with the same use and characteristics they had on such date and are not in legal status of urban ruin. Owners must request the City Council for an accreditation of this situation. This is intended to the clarification of the legal status of all of the existing buildings in non urban plots in Andalucía after the recent law reform .
