The new amending paragraph in the Law (Ley de Ordenación Urbanística de Andalucía) says the measures of protection of city-planning legality and restoration of the disturbed law and order shall validly take place when these works are in course of execution, implementation or development and within a term of six years after their full completion.

This means that the municipal administration may now act against illegal works within a period of six years since the day they have been executed, thus extending the deadline so far limited to four years.
